Everyone’s on their best behavior when someone comes down from corporate—even when it’s a farm pup named Molly From Corporate, here to make sure that scritches are scratched and tails are wagged.
Pet parent and Nationwide member Tyler W. explains the origin the wacky name for his large mixed-breed dog: “At some point, I made a joke to my wife that her name should get the attention of the staff whenever she goes somewhere. Imagine taking her for grooming or into a pet store, and when they ask 'Who do we have here?' we answer, 'This is Molly. From corporate.'" We giggled for a while imagining the frantic whispers from staff who overheard: ‘Corporate sent someone here?! We didn't know! I don't even know who Molly is!’”
From that moment forward, Molly the friendly farm dog became a corporate shark. However, she has never forgotten her gentle roots. Tyler continues, “There haven't been many frantic whispers or looks of panic, but more than a few folks have expressed their pleasure at having someone so friendly ‘from corporate’ visit them on site.”
