What happens when you combine a love of puns, the magical world of Harry Potter and cats? For the Adams family and their cat, Neville Furbottom, you get a nomination for the 2020 Wacky Pet Name award.
“Neville Longbottom is one of our favorite characters, so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a pun,” says Katie.
“Neville is a big boy, in size and volume,” she continues. “It's a point of pride for us when people see that he is just large and not overweight. We often hear vets whisper to their techs, ‘Did you see the size of his head?’ He's always been vocal and has grown into a wonderful conversationalist over the years.”
As new pet owners, Katie and her husband were shocked to see their vet bill after getting a life-saving surgery for Neville. After that, they decided to get pet insurance to ease future financial burdens.
