This queen of the castle is wagging her tail all the way to the 2020 Wacky Pet Name nomination list, thanks to owners Eric and Randy. Meet Sugar Bubbles Fancypants, a doggo with a sweet and whimsical name unlike any other.
Coming up with a delightful name like this was no easy task! “We went through so many different names,” says Eric. “We couldn’t decide on one and we had different ideas—it ended up being a conglomeration of a bunch of names. We thought she’s sweet like sugar, we love champagne – so we needed the bubbles in there, and we thought she just walked like a little fancy pants.”
She’s not just fancy, though. Eric says Sugar Bubbles Fancypants has many layers. “She’s sweet, outgoing, sociable but also headstrong and stubborn.”
That sweet side is what keeps people “oohing” and “ahhing” when they hear her name.
Little Ms. Sugar is also known for her spin. Eric says, “She loves to spin and she spins when she’s excited and just spins and she spins all the way to the food bowl when it’s time to eat.”
Ms. Sugar’s pet parents purchased pet insurance from Nationwide to be proactive. “We wanted to make sure that we would be able to give Sugar the best quality of life possible.”
