“I got Business Cat from a friend of a friend when he was a month old,” says Busy’s owner, Dakota D. “My roommate at the time liked this webcomic called ‘The Adventures of Business Cat’ by Tom Fonder, which is about a cat-human hybrid businessman navigating the corporate workplace—buying a printer for the office so he can sit in the box, for example. Our Business Cat has a handsome little mustache and goatee and looks like he’s wearing a jacket, [so] the name seemed to fit perfectly!”
Business Cat seems to fit his moniker both in name and personality. Dakota continues, “He’s a little short and squat, so when he sits, he tends to look very formal, and he’s always keeping a keen eye on me to make sure I’m sticking to a set routine and performing up to standards—feeding him on schedule, giving him morning treats and providing consistent pets. He’s always very professional … never rudely interrupting or yelling at me.”

Dakota says, “I want to keep my guy healthy for as long as possible, and pet insurance seemed like the best idea to ensure I can get him treatment he needs long term without emptying my wallet.”
