When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that’s—a wacky pet name. Here’s the story of the unique origin of MooMoo Mozarella, a charming black and white guinea pig.
“Our guinea pig is black and white and looks like a cow, so we went with MooMoo,” says Louise I., pet mom to MooMoo. “But we also wanted to represent our heritage of being Italian, so we thought ‘Mozzarella’ flowed nicely.”
Initially, it took MooMoo a couple of months to become comfortable in her now home. Now, it feels like second nature. Louise continues, “She is part of our family now and loves being wrapped up in a blanket when she spends time outside of her cage. She enjoys her morning vegetable meals and even our pet dog Sadie.” However, Louise wasn’t done coming up with food-inspired wacky names for her guinea pigs. She adds, “After doing some research we realized that guinea pigs need friends, so in comes CoCo Cappuccino, a blended cocoa-colored guinea pig.”
“We have always had pet insurance for all our pets over the last twenty years and now would be no difference,” says Louise. “Nationwide has been very good to us with helping to defer the cost of expensive vet bills, it allows us not to think twice to bring our beloved pets to the vet.”
