Breakfast is more than just the most important meal of the day—it’s a source of inspiration for guinea pig mom Jessica F. “By complete accident, I created a food theme among the names of my previous guinea pigs. When I adopted Pancake, I wanted to keep the breakfast theme; her name before I adopted her was Reeses, so she became Peanut Butter Pancake.”
Soon, Jessica realized that her wacky pet name was more than just a cute nod to a tasty morning staple. It fit her new pet, too. She says, “I did notice that she made a very good pancake when she got super relaxed. It was a perfect fit.”
Pancake is a fun-loving rodent who likes to shake her stuff. Jessica adds, “She loves to rumblestrut, it doesn’t matter what her target is—the other guinea pigs, my hand, the wind. She just loves shaking her butt and rumbling at things.”
Jessica’s breakfast bunch is a part of her family. Naturally, she wanted to find the best health coverage for her guinea pigs.
