Occasionally, when a pet name just fits, it’s like magic—or in some cases, wacky magic. Such is the case for a macaw named Magic Nugget.
“I wanted him to be a magic bird and could not figure out what to name him,” says Ally S., Nationwide member, bird parent and naming wizard. “He was a magical bird, and I fell in love. So, I [decided] his name is going to be Magic Nugget.”
The name was a perfect fit for the morsel of magic that Ally had brought into her life. She continues, “I have to say since I had him, he has been Magic in my life.”
Magic is more than a great companion for Ally—he’s a parrot with personality to say the least: “He is friendly, he loves to talk, and he loves singing.”
He also has some wacky quirks. Ally continues, “He does not want to play with toys. He always wants to play with the TV remote control or mess with my chargers.”
When it came time to find the right pet healthcare coverage for her beloved bird, Ally saw a sign—and like magic, it all came together.
